Carruthers Pty Limited is a professional accountancy firm. We do not want to provide "off the shelf" products and services. Rather we possess the technical expertise to offer a complete and customized service to deliver value added solutions to clients.
It is our objective to empower clients by conveying to them a fundamental understanding of their business' taxation environment. We consider not only the accountancy aspects of a client's situation but also provide analysis and evaluation insights that reflect comprehensive knowledge of taxation and commercial realities.
Carruthers Pty Limited achieves its objectives by continuing to recruit quality accountants and exhaustively pursue a professional education regime which surpasses the requirements set by all professional and regulatory bodies.
Generally, the professional bodies representing accountants in Australia require their members to undertake Training and Development of a minimum 120 Qualifying hours over a three year period. This is 40 Qualifying hours per year. Our principal Mr Fred Grotte usually undertakes more than double this each year, averaging over the past three years more than 80 hours a year (see the attached training register)! Mr Fred Grotte is not a professional education junkie, rather he is actively fossicking for those ideas that become value-add opportunities for our clients. Clients don't want problems, they want solutions. We adopt a creative attitude toward problem solving. When preparing income tax returns (and financial statements) we strive to minimize the amount of tax payable within the scope that is legally and commercially permissible. We look at transactions to see if they can be structured better. We voluntarily draw important matters to our clients' attention.
