SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - 1st September, 2008 - FastAs has launched an internet directory service that includes functionality to assist in the location of missing persons. Anyone can create and launch online ‘ePosters’ with image, name and details and have it displayed to FastAs visitors from anywhere in the world.

“One of the most difficult things to deal with when you are searching for a loved one is your inability to take prompt and direct action.” said Carl Peatman, FastAs CEO. “Once you have reported the matter to the authorities you are often left to just wait by the phone. The FastAs Missing Person Service enables you to take immediate action by using the power and reach of the internet.”

Missing Person listings can be created in the FastAs directory at any time and the display of ePosters commences immediately. The FastAs listing provides for entry of a wide range of information that may prove to be useful in locating and identifying the missing person, including the contact and references for the authorities involved.

A fee of $5 per month applies and the service can be discontinued at any time.

“We have had a strong response to our Missing Person initiative and are examining ways to extend it in the near future. In particular, we are looking into the syndication of the ePosters so that we can reach an ever expanding audience. We look forward to making an announcement on this very soon.”
